My most recent work focuses on limnology and the Great Lakes system. The majority of this work so far was done during my postdoc with Cleveland Water Alliance. My current work continues to focus on topics relevant to winter limnology, data integration, and environmental monitoring while I am working for the Large Lakes Observatory.
Winter Limnology: I was involved in the "Great Lakes Winter Grab," a multi-institutional campaign to collect rare winter data on the Great Lakes, addressing a significant knowledge gap regarding lake conditions during ice-covered months.
Data Integration: My work regarding "Towards a smarter Lake Erie" focused on modernizing data acquisition and sharing for large lake management.
